The Clear Creek Amana Community School District has announced its first-ever Sun Meals Summer Meal Program for Summer of 2026.
According to a district news release, the program provides free meals to all children ages 18 and under during the summer months. Meals will be provided from June 8th to Aug 7th. No meal service will be provided on July 3rd.
At Hot Sun Meals Sites, children will receive hot breakfast and lunch meals served on-site at the following locations:
Monday through Friday
Breakfast: 8:15-9:00 am
Lunch: 11:30-12:15 pm
Western Hills Community Center – 3701 2nd Street, Coralville
Monday through Friday
Breakfast: 9:30-10:00 am
Lunch: 11:30-12:15 pm
At the Sun Meals To-Go site, parents/guardians can pick up grab-and-go meal kits for children. Pickup is available at:
Parkview Mobile Home Park – 1813 Lower Old Hwy 6 Rd NW, Oxford
Meal Kit Pickup: Monday & Wednesday
Pickup time: 11:30-12:00 pm
Parents/guardians must pick up meals for children at the to-go site.
