A weekend auto accident in Black Hawk County sent one person to University of Iowa Hospitals with serious injuries.
The incident occurred on the 8100 block of West First Street in Cedar Falls Saturday morning. According to the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Department and Cedar Falls Police, a Hyundai Elantra and a IH McCormick Farmall tractor were traveling east when one rear-ended the other.
The driver of the tractor was airlifted to the UIHC for serious injuries; the Hyundai driver was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The names of the parties involved have not been released.
