A technical issue at Collins Aerospace over the weekend caused delays worldwide for departing passengers.
According to a post from Heathrow Airport Sunday, the company, who provides check-in and boarding systems for several airlines across multiple airports globally, experienced the technical issue and caused delays for departing passengers. They advised passengers to check their flight status with their airline before traveling, and arrive at the airport no earlier than three hours before a long haul flight and two hours before domestic flights.
Collins Aerospace has not released details on what caused the issue.
