Multiple agencies responded to a two-alarm blaze north of Solon Tuesday afternoon.
The PulsePoint app indicates that just after 4:45 p.m. fire departments from Solon, North Liberty, Mt Vernon, Ely, Swisher, Iowa City and Lisbon all descended on 4824 110th Street for a structure fire with nearby corn also catching on fire. A metal shed and a tractor were reportedly fully engulfed. The fire was listed as under control just after 6:00, with crews on the scene for just over four hours.
There is no report of any injuries, and no damage estimate has been released.
