A Coralville man was arrested earlier this month after an argument with his wife reportedly turned into a physical altercation.
39-year-old Raphael Neely of Holiday Road was arguing about errands the morning of December 5th. His wife went to the restroom, and Neely allegedly entered, wound up, and struck her with his hand.
The woman saw the blow coming and was able to defend herself, blocking it with her arm.
Neely was taken into custody and charged with 2nd offense Domestic Abuse Assault. He could get a two-year jail sentence if convicted. A no-contact order was requested.
