The Solon Fire Department has made a sizable donation to the city’s food pantry.
The Solon Food Pantry posted to its Facebook page that Solon firefighters have donated 162.3 pounds of food they collected at their December 14th “Santa’s Coming to Town” event. People could meet Santa Claus in exchange for at least one donation of a non-perishable food item.
