North Liberty Police have arrested a Tiffin man they say threatened to shoot multiple people outside of a bar.
39-year-old Michael Riggan of Ponds Court was arrested at the East Burlington Street Maverick just before 1:30 Thursday morning after an Iowa City Police officer noticed he was driving with non-illuminated registration lights. Riggan was charged with Driving While Denied or Revoked.
Riggan was wanted for an April 4th incident outside Mickey’s Irish Pub on Pacha Parkway. Investigators say Riggan was in a verbal altercation with multiple individuals just after 12:15 a.m. when he allegedly threatened to come back and shoot multiple people.
Riggan is charged with Disorderly Conduct. If convicted, he faces up to 30 days in jail.
