The Linn County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into the discovery of a man found dead in a ditch Tuesday.
According to a press release, deputies and Hiawatha Ambulance personnel responded to the 3800 block of Greystone Drive just before 1pm Tuesday on a report of a body lying in a ditch.
The identity of the man was discovered, but hasn’t been released at this time.
The sheriff’s office said they don’t believe there is further danger to the public, but as an unattended death the case requires further investigation.
