Saturday morning for most people is a time to enjoy breakfast while the kids watch Saturday morning cartoons. For one man, it was apparently a good time to solicit a prostitute.
Iowa City Police were called to the 1900 block of Keokuk Street at 8:44am Saturday for a black female with pink hair, a pink top and and no pants walking westbound.
Arriving officers found the woman with 28-year-old Dieu Plus Fort Pierre of Nichols behind the former 5 Star Auto. Police say Pierre admitted to making arrangements with another subject to meet the woman to exchange money for sex. The woman was located inside a parked vehicle behind the business, and Pierre was found with his belt partially undone and a condom wrapper on the ground next to him.
Pierre is charged with Prostitution. If convicted, he faces a maximum of two years in prison. There is no indication if charges have been filed against the woman.
