A North Liberty woman faces a no-contact order violation after she allegedly summoned the protected party to bring paperwork to a traffic stop.
North Liberty Police pulled over a 2000 Toyota Solara for a pair of traffic violations at Sugar Creek Lane and Zeller Street just before 4:00 Sunday afternoon. The driver, 25-year-old Alexis Schreiner, pulled into the parking lot of her nearby Sugar Creek Lane apartment building. Investigators say when she was unable to find all of the paperwork for her vehicle, Schreiner called her boyfriend to bring it outside. Police say they noticed the boyfriend is a protected party in a no-contact order with Schreiner, and when he came outside, she was arrested for two contempt charges.
The second charge stems from a January 9th incident during which Schreiner allegedly showed up at the boyfriend’s residence without a one-time visit being set up by authorities.
