The Red Cross has been contacted after fire damaged an Iowa City mobile home over the weekend.
Dispatch records show firefighters from Iowa City, Hills, Lone Tree, and Riverside were all called to the Lake Ridge manufactured housing community just after 8:15 Saturday morning for smoke coming from a mobile home. The fire was located inside the bathroom. It was extinguished and incoming units from Hills, Lone Tree, and Riverside were all released from service.
No further details…including a damage estimate…have been released.
