The Coralville Center for the Performing Arts presents “The Drowsy Chaperone” this weekend.
Evan Hilsabeck, director at the Center, stopped by the KCJJ studios to give us a thumbnail sketch about the play. He said it’s about a die-hard theatre fan who plays his favorite cast album, and the characters come to life. New York Magazine called it “the perfect Broadway musical.”
Performances this weekend are Saturday night at 7:30pm and Sunday at 2. Additional performances will be held Friday May 8th and Saturday May 9th at 7:30 and Sunday May 10th at 2pm. Tickets are available by clicking below.
