Rock Island man arrested for disorderly conduct additionally charged after being found with cocaine in county jail

A Rock Island Illinois man arrested for disorderly conduct faces a felony charge after he was allegedly found with cocaine on his person when booked at the Johnson County Jail.

Arrest records show that 25-year-old Jaime Rea was arrested for fighting, public intoxication and interference with official acts for an incident on the 300 block of East Burlington Street.  He was brought to the jail for booking, and deputies say Rea had a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine wrapped up in a five dollar bill on his person when he arrived.

Charges from the initial arrest come with a jail sentence of up to 90 days if convicted. Rea was additionally charged with Possession of Contraband in a Correctional Facility, a Class D felony that could add up to five years to his sentence.
